Event Navigation

Offering a powerful narrative of overcoming adversity, Senator Nina Turner is a gifted orator who puts political and social trends in unparralleld perspective.  She’s commited to the uplift of progressive ideals and values, a vocation she views as bigger than political affiliations.

Most recently a national surrogate for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders during the hard fought 2016 Democratic presidential primary, Nina Turner is an insightful advocate and agent for social change.  Today, she serves as president of Our Revolution, an organization created by Senator Sanders to revitalize American democracy, empower progressive leaders and elevate political consciousness.

She will be speaking at Rutgers about the foundations of the progressive movement, political action and organization and more.  Join us on April 7th, in the Busch Campus Center MPR, and help us in elevating the people’s platform and fighting for the common good.

Parking at Rutgers University facility is limited and All University Parking Rules are in Effect.

This is a FREE event!

Hosted by Peter Jacob, New Jersey District 7 Congressional candidate endorsed by Our Revolution.
